A rare opal
Leopard Opal is uniquely found in the Zimapán region of Mexico, where dark volcanic basalt becomes infused with opal silica. The stone's signature "leopard spots" are formed as the opal fills the porous basalt, creating sharp flashes of color against a monochromatic backdrop. To complement this distinct optical effect, the collection incorporates mint chrysoprase, white seed pearls, and a verdigris patina.
